Reflect is a new website that contains a risk prediction calculator that is being developed to help give people an idea of their personal future risk or chance of developing cancer. The website calculates cancer risk based on the answers you provide to the questions being asked about your lifestyle. The answer you give to each individual question contributes to your overall risk in different ways (either increasing or decreasing risk and to different extents) and this is based on expert knowledge around these different factors.

We also hope that it will help people to better understand how their lifestyles relate to this risk. People will be able to access the calculator online through the specially developed website.

The website is still in its developmental stage and we would like to understand from your experience of using it, how we can continue to improve it. Our ultimate plan is to create a website with input on the design from people like you, that is educational, easy to use and really helps people to understand their personal cancer risk.

This website is primarily an educational tool, so if after calculating your cancer risk you realise you are already doing everything you can to reduce your cancer risk, you might also look further at the links provided on the website to other relevant information relating to the cancer which will help you further understand why your risk is what it is and other ways in which you can be cancer aware.
